I can help your qualified small business to obtain SBA certification status as women-owned, disadvantaged (8a), or Hub-zone to enable you to bid on “set-aside" government contracts. With over twenty years of diverse small business experience, I can assist with setting up your basic accounting and service operations and improve the performance of your existing business. I have expertise in Federal Contract Administration and can help guide you through the bid and proposal process and other post-award compliance requirements including awareness of foreign trade controls. Most recently, I was the Director of Operations for a small ($5 million) specialty engineering firm and oversaw the finance, human resources and contract administration (both commercial and government). Prior to this position, I had a ten-year career with the Federal Government where I supervised all procurements-primarily in foreign countries, among other logistical responsibilities. Whatever you may need, I am eager to meet with you and listen and share my relevant expertise. Concurrent with my professional career I have always sought volunteer activities-ranging from sports to scouts and first responders. In addition to English, I have some proficiency in Turkish, French and Haitian Kreyol languages. It will be a joy to be able to help and watch your business improve and succeed.
